abracadabra: An interjection commonly used by magicians that manifests their trick. This derives from “avra kadavra” an Aramaic or Hebrew origin meaning, “it will be created in my words.” There was something about this that stopped me in my tracks, no, not literally… I was in bed. It was refreshing.. it will be created in my words. Further affirming my belief in the power of words. It’s the power of speaking things into existence, it’s how the power of your words make other people feel, this also belongs to the power of your thoughts, how you speak to yourself. Which I’ve realized is so much more important than the way anyone speaks to you.. how you honor yourself internally and externally teaches other’s how to treat you.
