Up until now: Checking boxes

I’ve been thinking about all the ways I’ve checked off boxes in my life. Life hasn’t been hard. ever. I’m good at doing what I’m supposed to do.. bare minimum. 28 and I’ve realized checking the boxes isn’t enough. It got me a decent job. Got me an apartment. But not what I’ve wanted deep down all along… freedom, independence. Checking the boxes keeps you in those exact boxes.

So what if we break them.

The boxes.

The molds that confine us.
